Lots of sunshine, even when the villages in the valley are already in the shade, tranquillity, breath-taking views, that make you forget about hurry and enjoy the feeling of absolute harmony – all of it you can experience at La Morinara in Alta Badia. However, this amazing mountain spot is just four kilometres away from the centres of San Cassiano and La Villa, from the nearest mountain lifts of Alta Badia and from the ski slopes of the giant area Dolomiti Superski. It is a great starting point for both easy walks and more challenging hikes, so you don't even have to use your car. And... from time to time you can see here roe deer and hares, or even foxes, that pass by on the way from the woods to the meadows.

To reach the farm, you should turn towards RÜDEFERIA on the part of the provincial road 37 between La Villa and San Cassiano, next to Irsara Bar and B&B. Then follow the paved road uphill for approximately 2 kilometres, always keeping to the right at crossroads and following the signs for Rüdeferia till the end of the road, where you will find our farm.

The road is in good conditions and is regularly cleaned after snowfalls, yet we would like to remind our guests, that in winter it is obligatory to drive with winter tyres or to have chains aboard. To the owners of diesel cars we would recommend, during the cold season, to refuel their cars with arctic diesel, available at all petrol stations of South Tyrol, or to use appropriate antifreeze additives.

We are pretty close to the passes of the Dolomites. Whenever your itinerary lies over the following passes: Gardena Pass, Campolongo Pass, Falzarego Pass and Valparola Pass, we invite you to check their opening on the website of the Province of Bolzano or on the appropriate signboards along the road.
